Dr. Masood Ahmad is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Horticulture at The University of Agriculture, Peshawar, Pakistan. With over two decades of professional experience spanning academia, research, and the horticulture industry, he is dedicated to advancing Plant Sciences through innovative research, excellence in teaching, and international academic collaboration.

His expertise includes plant health improvement, sustainable horticultural production, ornamental horticulture, floriculture, medicinal and aromatic plants, protected cultivation, landscape horticulture, postharvest physiology, plant nutrition, and value addition of horticultural crops. His research focuses on developing practical, science-based solutions that integrate sustainable production technologies, environmental stewardship, postharvest innovation, and commercialization to enhance the productivity, quality, and resilience of horticultural systems.

As Principal Investigator, Dr. Ahmad has successfully led nationally funded research projects and established a Commercial Floriculture and Value Addition Laboratory that promotes innovation, technology transfer, and market-oriented research. He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific publications, supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate research students, and actively contributes to academic leadership, curriculum development, professional training, and scientific outreach.

As a Faculty Member of BioNatural Healing College (BNHC), Dr. Ahmad is committed to supporting graduate education in Plant Health Improvement and Environmental Health (and other relevant areas we required) through student-centered teaching, research mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He believes that education should empower students to think critically, conduct impactful research, and apply scientific knowledge to address real-world challenges.
