Diploma Program Description

This Diploma program consists of 30 credits is a 12-16 month study program in order to successfully complete all assigned courses and study requirements for this Diploma in Herbal Science & Master Herbalist Consultant.

Course Description:
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to medicinal herbs, exploring their therapeutic properties, safe usage, and applications in natural healing. Students will gain an understanding of how medicinal plants work, their role in holistic wellness, and best practices for preparation and formulation. The course also covers herbal apothecary techniques, including methods for cultivating, foraging, and processing medicinal plants. Additionally, students will learn to develop plant-based remedies for common ailments such as muscle strain, anxiety, and insomnia.

This course explores the scientific principles of herbal medicine and phytotherapy , emphasizing evidence-based applications for various health conditions. Through case studies, students will examine the efficacy of selected herbal therapies for specific medical conditions, making this course a valuable tool for client counseling in clinical practice . The curriculum also includes dosage guidelines for adults and children , alongside the development of comprehensive treatment plans that integrate multiple therapeutic options for holistic healing.

Students will learn about the Five Element Theory, the mechanisms of acupuncture in disease diagnosis and treatment, and its integration with modern medicine. The course also highlights acupuncture’s role in pain management, holistic healing, and patient care.

Course Description:
This course explores the therapeutic potential of green herbs and their role in natural medicine. Students will learn how to utilize medicinal plants as part of a green pharmacy, emphasizing safety, efficacy, and proper application. The course covers selecting the right herbs for specific ailments, including arthritis, asthma, colds and flu, coughing, constipation, fever, and even preventive strategies for chronic conditions like cancer.

Identify herbal remedies for common health conditions and their safe usage.
Explore the principles of herbal safety, contraindications, and dosage.
Gain insight into holistic approaches to health and disease prevention using plant-based medicine.

Business Skill & Communication And Human Biology Courses are not included in the diploma program (Short Course 5/6 weeks Separate and optional for Students with a Separate Tuition Fee of $200)



This course guides and covers the basic concept of starting a business and all the necessary issues required for a Natural Health Consultant, such as schools, accreditation, credentials, legal issues, malpractice insurance, forms, assessment systems, marketing, compliance, appointment structuring, and other related issues.
Note: Each online course with its assigned period has assignments, three exams, and a paper per course for students to write.

Introduction to Human Biology (Anatomy & Physiology 5 credits/6 weeks) Separate and optional for Students to enhance their knowledge about Human Biology with a Separate Tuition Fee of $250.



This course introduces the human body on a microscopic level, including cells, tissues, organs, and systems13. It describes basic human body parts and their life process. It also explains how important the human body is, which consists of cells, tissue functions in these organs, and systems that play a significant role in the structures and functions of each major system.

The BNHC academic committee can modify the curriculum based on science and update research on prospective students’ needs, backgrounds, or careers.
